'''Aiken''' is a Sky Marshal astro-ranger in the [[United Nations Space Command|Unified Nations Security Confederation]], and was originally part of the [[Colonial Military Authority|Capital Military Authority]]. During the Final War on November 3, 67 AP, he was a part of a battalion of 300 Sky Marshals in a raid on the Project: PERPETUA factory complex on [[Covenant#Fracture: Entrenched|Covenant]] occupied [[Luna]], cladded with an old Kerberos helmet, and deployed from the ''Brísingamen''.{{Ref/Reuse|TLSM3}} After the Covenant deployed their crawling mists against the Sky Marshals, Aiken was forced to kill some of his own comrades after they fall into madness by exposure to the mists. When the battle was over, Aiken was one of the only 12 Sky Marshals left to complete the mission. The Sky Marshals managed to reach Project: PERPETUA's factory complex, where they witnessed the Covenant's Prophet and discover the Covenant was about to install the ''Perpetua''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s atomic reactor; Aiken then suggested Kolby two options: deploy the ''Perpetua'' or destroy the ship, leaving the final decision to Kolby.  

Kolby decided to launch the ''Perpetua'', and launch their attach against the Covenant and the Prophet. Aiken commanded six of the Sky Marshals to take the star-zeppelin, successfully launching it and attaching it to the empty ''Brísingamen''. Before launching the ''Perpetua'', Aiken contacted Kolby, promising to return with help. Unknown to Aiken and the surviving Sky Marshals, the Covenant warped the ''Perpetua''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s atomic reactor with a pre-defined destination. On December 9, the ''Perpetua'' arrived into a 30,000-kilometer ring-shaped structure anchored into a green-brown planet. After thinking on Commander Kolby's sacrifice, Aiken ordered the star-zeppelin to begin its approach to the ring's surface.
