Oracle Master seems to be an office of duty among the Covenant High Council - usually an Elite particularly knowledgable in religious and political affairs is made the personal adviser of a [[High Prophet|Hierarch]] or a high ranking military official. Oracle Masters also serve aboard ships,<ref>[[Halo: Ghosts of Onyx]].</ref> serving as data gatherers, advisors/mentors, and religious leaders.

The only known Oracle Master, [[Parala 'Ahrmonro]],<ref>[[Halo: Ghosts of Onyx]].</ref> is described as old, but fiercely intelligent. Beyond that, little else is known about the rank, or the Elite who holds it.
