KFA-2 x2: Difference between revisions

The KFA-2 x2 is a 2x magnification, smart-linked scope that relays visual data directly into the user's [[Heads Up Display|HUD]]. This stands in contrast to normal optical scopes such as the one featured on the [[BR55 Battle Rifle]], whereby the user have the ability to look into the scope, but the latter can also relay the visual data directly to the users HUD. Infantry and other military personal that do not wear a helmet with a visor or an eyepiece, has this HUD interface overlaid their normal sight via their [[Neural Interface|Standard or Command Neural Interface]]. This scope was only featured in ''[[Halo:Combat Evolved]]'' and ''[[Halo: Reach]]'', and was absent in the other two sequels. The reason is because Bungie decided that the pistol behaved more like a rifle with the scope.
