Frieden: Difference between revisions

Before the formation of the [[UEG|United Earth Government]] and [[UNSC|United Nations Space Command]], the fascist '''Frieden''' movement was started to achieve peace through the destruction of the "oppressors on [[Earth|Terra Firma]]."  Supported by [[Unified German Republic]] corporations who were frequent targets of Koslovic "workers' crusades", this movement formed from rising anti-[[Koslovic]] sentiment in the [[Jovian Moons]]. The Frieden attacked the [[UN Colonial Advisors]] on [[Io]], sparking the [[Jovian Moons Campaign]], the [[Rain Forest Wars]], and a series of conflicts on [[Mars]], all of which were a part of the [[Interplanetary War]]. Both the Frieden and the Koslovics were defeated by the [[UN]] and formally surrendered during the [[Callisto Treaty]] of [[2170]]. "''Frieden''" literally means "peace"—in this case, they believed that peace could only be achieved once the "oppressors on Terra Firma" were eliminated.

Judging by the term "secessionist", it is clarified that the Frieden movement's main goal was to separate itself from the [[United Nations]]' authority and create an independent state in the [[Jovian Moons]].
