Farragut Station: Difference between revisions

Prior to [[2551|May 2551]], an incident which [[Laszlo Sorvad]] considered "intolerable" occurred on Farragut station, resulting in the professor's relocation.<ref>[[Dr. Halsey's personal journal]], May 10 2551</ref>

During the [[Fall of Reach]] on [[2552#July|July 26, 2552]], [[Covenant Empire|the Covenant]] had cut off communications from Sword Base. [[Kat-B320]] and [[SPARTAN-B312]] were ordered to reactivate the [[COM]] array at Farragut Station to contact [[UNSC]] Command. A small Covenant force containing a [[Revenant]] was occupying the base at that time.<ref name=sword></ref>

Between [[2552#August|August 14th]] and August 29th, Covenant forces occupying Sword Base built a defensive position at Farragut Station. This position contained multiple [[Type-26 Anti-Infantry Stationary Gun|Shade Turrets]], a [[Deployable lookout tower]] and a pair of [[Ghost]]s. It was manned by a group of  [[Grunts]] led by a single [[Sniper Jackal]].<ref>'''[[Halo: Reach]]''', ''[[The Package (level)|The Package]]''</ref>On August 29th, SPARTAN-B312 and a team of [[Orbital Drop Shock Troopers]] once again passed through Farragut Station whilst on a mission to destroy the nearby Sword Base. However, by this time the station had been flooded due to icemelt from Covenant activity, leaving only the rooftops above water. The team destroyed the Covenant defensive position before moving on toward the objective.
