'''UNSC Battle Group Sierra-3''' was a [[battle group]] that fought in the [[Battle of 18 Scorpii]] that spurred [[Cole|Vice Admiral Preston Cole]] to seek out the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant]] at [[Psi Serpentis System|Psi Seprentis]] leading up to the [[Admiral Cole's Last Stand|Admiral's last stand]]. At 18 Scorpii the battle group engaged a Covenant destroyer, nearly themselves destroyed, when a hitherto unknown group of independents lead by the ''[[Bellicose]]'' helped to destroy the Covenant ship and proceeded to quickly jump back into [[slip-space]].
