Ardent Prayer: Difference between revisions

The ship was one of the main targets of [[Operation: UPPER CUT]], and was boarded by multiple [[YSS-1000|Sabre]] craft in an effort to plant a [[Shaw-Fujikawa Translight Engine]] on board, which would be used to destroy a nearby [[Covenant supercarrier]]. During the mission, the ship was engaged by the UNSC frigate ''[[Savannah]]''.  The ''Savannah'' jammed the ''Ardent Prayer''<nowiki>'</nowiki>s communications, while the Sabres damaged her engines and destroyed her Seraph escort so she couldn't call for help. The ''Ardent Prayer'' destroyed the ''Savannah'', but not before a boarding party had landed.  The UNSC team eliminated the bridge crew and set the ship on a refuelling track with the supercarrier ''[[Long Night of Solace]]''. The operation succeeded, and the ''Ardent Prayer'', along with a good amount of the supercarrier, was instantly vapourized by the rigged Slipspace drive.
