:::I think I was right, in the documentary Locke said that the report was compiled on September 26th, 2552. So I would say it's likely the Master Chief did access the Terminal (at least the first one) in "real time" during ''Halo 2'', like those in ''Halo 3'' or ''Halo 4''. And Thel is portrayed as he was before becoming the Arbiter, so this really sounds like it's pre-post-Covenant War. (wtf did I just say?)
