Tor has a three-book contract deal with [[Bungie]]. The first book, [[Halo: Ghosts of Onyx]] by [[Eric Nylund]], was released on October 31, 2006. The second book was [[Halo: Contact Harvest]] by [[Joseph Staten]], which was released on October 30, 2007. Nothing has been said of the last book in the series, however it may be a follow up to the cliffhanger ending of Halo 3.
