'''Scott Macrae''' is a [[SPARTAN-IV Program|fourth generation Spartan]] who served with [[Mountain Squad]] on the {{UNSCShip|Infinity}} during the post-[[Human-Covenant war|war]] years.  

In [[2558]], Macrae and his team were shot down by [[Jul 'Mdama's Covenant faction|Covenant]] forces while searching for signal data that was discovered during the [[S1/Catherine/Galileo|attack]] on [[Galileo Base]]. Macrae and some of his teammates, including [[Fredric Zurenia|Zurenia]], survived the crash and were later assisted by [[Fireteam Crimson]], who were sent to rescue them. Unfortunately, he and his team were killed by Covenant reinforcements before proper extraction could be sent by ''Infinity'', leaving Crimson to finish their mission without them.<ref name="S1E3"/>
