:I believe it should count as part of the battle. John, Thel and Johnson were still in combat with the Flood, just as the UNSC-Sangheili forces on the Ark's surface were, and Installation 04B's destruction was instrumental in wiping out the remaining Flood on the Ark. This article is in some SERIOUS need of condensing. The edit made in July 2018 added so much unnecessary Detail that the actual main points of the battle are lost due to every single unit ever faced in the campaign is named. If someone could condense this to keep it on point and accurate that would be great.
