I can't confirm this, but I have reason to believe that the Time Travel Glitch actually damages your disc. When you Time Travel, you are basically loading an entire section of a map that is stored on another part of the disc. This sudden loading forces the drive laser and the disc to quickly jump to another section of the disc which explains the brief pause while Time Traveling. A few jumps with Time Traveling won't cause any noticable damage to your disc, but after several hundred jumps, your disc may start being scratched or even cracked. That's my observation so far but I can't confirm anything at the moment. General Heed 04:36, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

:*...Such that when you perform this glitch, you bypass that loading point, thus bypassing the scripting and preventing the Scarab Tanks and Deployable Lookout Towers from loading; however, due to the way maps are loaded, the terrain and radio dialogue is still present.

:'Course, that's just a theory, so unless anyone else thinks it's likely, I'm not adding it into the article. But in (re-)answer to your question, yeah, the glitches you refer to are already briefly mentioned. <span style="background:#AADDAA;display:inline-block;height:16px;padding-right:4px;line-height:1em;position:relative;top:-3px;-moz-border-radius:0 50% 50%"><b> <span style="color:#000;position:relative;top:.15em">DavidJCobb&nbsp;</span></b></span> 23:12, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
