*Interestingly, the Marine may occasionally be seen without his M6G, raising his hand to his head as if he had it in his hand. This is probably the result of a bug in the game.

*If you look closely, the dead Marines lying around the room show no signs of Flood infection. It may be possible the Marine just lost it, and subsequently murdered his comrades in his crazed fear. On the other hand, it is also possible that he destroyed the visible signs of Flood infection. Another possibility is that the infection may just "disappear". It happens to bodies that aren't completely infected; after awhile, the infection just disappears off the body. It is also possible that he killed his squad immediately after the flood infection forms entered their bodies and the infection forms were not inside the soldiers long enough to inject a flood super cell and infect them. It seems likely, however (From his ramblings - which do not coincide with the usual Flood mutations) that he was merely suffering paranoid dementia, hallucinating his comrade's afflictions when nothing was actually wrong. If an [[Infection Form]] had entered the body, the wounds from their frantic burrowing would be clearly visible, surely? He also seems to perceive the player(s) as Flood (With the line - "''Stay back! You're not turning me into one of those things!"''). This is impossible - we know for certain that the four player characters ([[Master Chief]], [[Thel 'Vadam]], [[N'tho 'Sraom]], [[Usze 'Taham]]) are ''not'' infected... obviously.
