Omega Company dared not move. The physics of slipstream space were strange, and no one really knew how they worked. Daniel knew that they had to get into the ''Penance'' as soon as possible, as objects could not travel in a straight line in the extra dimension for very long. At any moment, any, of them could be instantly transported to any point in slipspace. The only way to be sure they would stay with the cruiser was to be ''in'' it. Daniel needed a way into the ship. The SOEIVs were lodged into the [[energy shielding]] of the ''Penance'', so Daniel used this to his advantage. He swiftly pushed each drop pod through and let himself fall into the last hole. Now inside the energy barrier, Daniel ordered Justin to come out of his HEV. Justin  was the only Spartan in Omega Company to be involved with the top-secret [[project GUNGNIR]]. His armor was integrated with advanced technology that had been developed in the classified program. He had a CBRN/HU/RS attached onto [[MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor/G Variant|his helmet]], a video camera "eye" on the left side of his face and, most importantly, a [[M6 Grindell/Galilean Nonlinear Rifle|Spartan Laser]] built into each of his palms. Each battery was good for up to five shots on the highest power setting, but turned on low it could emit a steady beam that could melt through anything known to man, and hopefully the Covenant alloy that made the ship. Justin turned both lasers on and started to burn through the ship's hull. It took about ten minutes, but it eventually ate through. Justin then punched through the now weakened metal and managed to tear a hole just large enough for all of them to slip through one at a time. When they all got through, Daniel tore a Covenant barricade into a sheet and had Justin weld it over the hole to stop the atmospheric leak. ~To Be Continued~
