UNSC escape pod: Difference between revisions

Several escape pods were carried by the {{Class|Phoenix|colony ship}} {{UNSCShip|Spirit of Fire}} by the time of the ship's disappearance [[2531]]. During the [[Second Ark Conflict]] in [[2559]], the carrier used these escape pods to deploy [[ODST]]s<ref name="HW2"/> and [[Hellbringers]]<ref>''Halo Wars 2'', [[Helldrop]] leader power</ref> onto the megastructure in addition to more conventional [[SOEIV]]s, possibly due to depleted SOEIV stocks. By the time of the [[Battle of Installation 00]] in [[2552]], the {{Class|Charon|light frigate}} {{UNSCShip|Forward Unto Dawn}} employed several of these escape pods. Following the ship's arrival at [[Requiem]] in [[2557]], [[John-117]] and [[Cortana]] attempted to use the escape pods to escape the wreckage of the ''Dawn'', but the compartment was destroyed and the two pulled into space before they could be used.<ref name="dawn"/>
