I'm wondering why Bungie took a huge step with the Grunts from Halo 2 to Halo 3. The Grunts in Halo CE and 2 have rounded heads and scaly skin, while the Grunts in later games have a longer snout, bug like appearance (in Reach) and wrinkled skin.
