There must have been some planet somewhere, where they manufactured all of this in secret. Reach was obviously their biggest building ground, but it's also their most known. Like the Oort cloud surrounding the Sol system where the Infinity was made, there's got to be some secret place where the UNSC built all their stuff. At least we now know why they didn't even have a flag ship defending Earth, and still, I think Earth was horribly under defended.

:75 ships was merely the number of ships under the command of FADM Harper that was with the Cairo-Athens-Malta battle-cluster. You forget about the unit formerly referred to as "Battlegroup ''Stalingrad''" and there were surely many more ships that were not seen at the beginning of ''Halo 2'' but were likely destroyed over the course of the battle given the "smashed" status of the Home Fleet as said early on in ''Halo 3''. -[[User talk:Karl-591|Karl-591]] 02:57, 13 November 2012 (EST)

::But there's 100 battle clusters. You're not saying they had a fleet assigned to each cluster are you? That's like 7,500 ships! That doesn't even account for the rest of the UNSC fleet that would be called back to Earth.
