I am highly doubtful at the probability of the trip mine and the LOTUS anti-tank mine being the same. From the descriptions in the HALO book series, the LOTUS is a much more powerful tool. I wondered about their equality as well but conducted several tests at the damage delt by the trip mine. Even though it is lethal to thos riding in vehicle it does not have the destructive power to destroy a warthog. From what I understand from the books the a single LOTUS has the necessary destructive pwoer to render a Scorpion useless. | |||
