::I do think there's a difference between being designated KIA and being ''confirmed'' KIA. For all intents and purposes, we don't know what happened to Jorge, and can only assume, sans a later appearance, that he was killed by the slipspace rupture. It's ''remotely'' possible that he survived on the Corvette if it wasn't destroyed by the chunk of Supercarrier it took with it, and if he wasn't swarmed by what was left of the Corvette's crew, but then that still leaves him stranded in slipspace.
