The '''Running Riot''' medal (known as '''Rampage''' in ''[[Halo 2]]'') is awarded for killing 15 opponents in a row without dying in [[multiplayer]] and [[Spartan Ops]]. In [[campaign]] and [[Firefight]] it is awarded for killing 30 enemies in a row without dying. In ''[[Halo: Spartan Assault]]'' and ''[[Halo: Spartan Strike]]'' the medal is awarded for killing ten enemies in a row without being hit.

The medal is represented by a silver 6-sided star with a purple target in the middle. In ''Spartan Assault'' and ''Spartan Strike'' it is represented by a stylized shield. When a player earns this medal, the announcer will shout "Running Riot!" to the player that received it.

A way to get this medal is to camp with a [[Shotgun]], [[Energy Sword]], [[Sniper Rifle]], or other power weapon, and avoid enemies. When they advance, stay out of sight, and as they get closer, execute an ambush, assassinate them, or snipe them.
The [[Running Riot Medal]] is awarded for killing 10 players in a row without dying.  It is availible in all [[multiplayer]] gametypes and has a [[bungie]] difficulty rating of 7 (out of 10).  This medal is represented by a bronze 5-sided star.
