Ru'swum-pattern Phantom: Difference between revisions

Although the ''Ru'Swum''-pattern Phantom were less freqeuntly used since the much earlier stages of the [[Human-Covenant War]], such as during [[Battle of Alpha Corvi II]]{{Ref/Comic|Id=hcd|HCD|Issue=[[Halo: Collateral Damage Issue 1|#1]]}} and [[Harvest campaign]],{{Ref/Comic|HWG}} its most prominent use was during the final engagements, including the [[Fall of Reach]] and [[Battle for Earth]].{{Ref/Reuse|enc22}} In the [[2552|last year]] of the Human-Covenant War, it was largely supplanted by a newer pattern, the {{Pattern|Kez'katu|Phantom}}, though many Covenant troops never used the newer model.{{Ref/Reuse|WP}} After the war, disparate [[Covenant remnants]],{{Ref/Reuse|Guide}} such as [[Jul 'Mdama]]'s [[Jul 'Mdama's Covenant|Covenant]], used the ''Ru'Swum''-pattern as their primary [[dropship]], due to the scarcity of the ''Kez'katu''-pattern after [[High Charity]]'s destruction.{{Ref/Site|Id=WP|URL=https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/universe/vehicles/phantom|Site=Halo Waypoint|Page=Phantom|D=30|M=10|Y=2021}} Although warring Sangheili factions has made extensive use of the ''Ru'Swum''-pattern Phantom, the UNSC also captured a large number of these vehicles during [[Requiem Campaign]].{{Ref/Reuse|WP}} The {{Pattern|Mikpramu|Phantom}} would later be seen in widespread use by Covenant factions and [[Swords of Sanghelios]] due to diminishing numbers of ''Ru'Swum''-pattern and ''Kez'katu''-pattern Phantoms.{{Ref/Reuse|WP}}
