The '''''Minor Transgression''''' was a small [[Covenant]] Missionary Ship in use before the [[Human-Covenant War]], one of the ships used by the [[Ministry of Tranquility]]. <ref>''[[Halo: Contact Harvest]]'', page 56</ref> It was commanded by the [[Kig-yar]] [[Ship Master|Ship Mistress]] [[Chur'R-Yar]] and used by the [[Kig-yar]] to raid unsuspecting [[human]] freighters near and around the [[Epsilon Indi]] System. It was destroyed by its Ship Mistress when it encountered a [[UNSC]] trap, set up to stop the raids, which were presumed to be by the [[Insurrectionist]] movement. The only surviving crew was a [[Grunt]], [[Dadab]] the [[Deacon]] and the [[Engineer]] "[[Lighter Than Some]]", both of whom escaped in one of the ship's lifepods.
