| Being a predecessor of the more common [[C709 Longsword]] variant used by [[UNSC Navy]], The C712 was a variant introduced for the [[UNSC Air Force]] commonly adhered for atmospheric operations, but can be operated in a vacuum. C712's were deployed vastly during the [[Human-Covenant War]] defending military assets and delivering high yielding nukes towards [[Covenant]] ships. Their most notable battles was during the [[Battle for Earth]] where [[pilots]] fought tirelessly during space and ground engagements.
