Lighting

Regarding the recent reversion of the lighting/color correction: I am well aware that the image appears the way it does in The Art of Halo. However, I also believe it's rather counterproductive to recreate obvious printing imperfections as opposed to replicating the actual coloration from the original source. Now, for some bizarre reason, this exact image does not appear to exist online in high resolution (if it did, I would've uploaded that instead) - 899 x 506 is the biggest version that Google image search can provide. But even a cursory look at the results (or for that matter, the Halo: Combat Evolved main menu) makes it obvious that the coloring is supposed to be much darker. It's not a huge issue, but since we have this as the main image, the washed out coloration is a little distracting. ---Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 06:41, 21 June 2013 (EDT)

Very well. I will upload a new one with the darker lighting, along with most of the white blemishes removed. --Xamikaze330 [Transmit|Files] 11:35, 21 June 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330
By the way, you forgot that there is another image I uploaded that is directly from the game itself. Of course I had to dial up the lighting a little bit because for some odd reason, every time I take a screenshot of a video game using Screen Grab on my computer, it always is far darker than it is supposed to be. (This never happens with screenshots from TV shows or movies.) But just because there is another means that this one nor the other should be deleted. Anyway, I thought we were originally going with an updated screenshot of Alpha Halo from Halo Anniversary? --Xamikaze330 [Transmit|Files] 11:47, 21 June 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330
