Halo: Arms Race: Difference between revisions

Despite the simplicity of the short, and its apparent purpose as an ad for Halo 3, it creates some possibility of what the [[Halo Movie]] may look like. Neill Blomkamp, the director of the short, is also set to direct the Halo movie, and would likely use some of the developed graphics from the video for the movie. Though most of the short is computer generated, several full size props appear to have been constructed, including full Marine uniforms and weapons. In addition, the short was released five days after it was announced that the Halo movie would resume production under the sponsorship of FOX<ref>[http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=25714790 Gamespot Article (Retrieved 7-19-2007)]</ref>.
