The brutes are described in the VIDoc as "The barbarians of Rome." due to their, ironically, brutish behaviour. This is also reflected both in their names, and the fact that on the Halo 3 forum, Frankie nicknamed the weekly update thread about this VIdoc "Et tu Brutus." This also relates back to Rome, as when Julius Ceaser died, his last words were "And you, Brutus." Frankie simply translated it into French. Maybe for a joke, or maybe just because he felt like it. none the less, the brutes demand great respect and caution on the battlefield. | |||
