Fall of  Reach
The UNSC Aegis Fate was present during the Covenant's invasion of Reach in the summer of 2552. It was assigned to bring fire support for a group of Marines fighting on the ground and offered as a support element for Dragon X-ray, though the operator refused, fearing that its firepower could cause collateral damage.

The Aegis Fate, Hull Classification Symbol FFG-307, is a frigate of the UNSC Navy . It was first seen in a stationary position over the area of a former Brute (Jiralhanae) Encampment.

According to the level description of Sandtrap (Level), the area the Aegis Fate hovers near was a Brute excavation site of a Forerunner structure. The vessel seems to have played a part in ejecting the Brutes from the area, such as supplying troops, vehicles, and supplies to UNSC ground forces.
