Yes the Chief was in the book. The chapter about the operation against the rebels in the beginning of the book is told from John's point of view--[[User talk:Caboose's Brother|Caboose's Brother]] 20:46, 16 February 2011 (EST)

The Trivia and Errors list disagree with one another about the Mark VI armor on the book's cover. I suggest revision although I don't know which side to pick.

* Kelly never received, fucking, Mark VI armor. She got kidnapped, in Halo: First Strike. The Spartan-II with Mark VI is probably Fred, but may be Will. Linda had a sniper rifle. I would guess that the one in SPI is Kurt because he is the main character that wears SPI armor. He decided not to wear his Mark V armor into the fight with Sentinels.

* I beileive it is Kelly in the Mark V armor, Kurt in the SPI and the Master chief in the Mark VI since he was mentioned in the book a few times and featured in the second chapter, and plus it doesn't say anything about the other spartans-II's having Mark VI armor or ever obtaining it. i'm still reading first strike to confirm it but all ive heard so far is that they only recieved upgrades to there Mark V armor [[User talk:SPARTAN-225|SPARTAN-225]] 13:24, 26th May 2011 (EDT)

==Television Reference?==
During the chapter segment fallowing the Unggoy Kwasas, he was playing a game with some fellow grunts. It is stated that he "Lost a few cartridges of formaldehyde, and won a file of old BBC, and then wished them well and moved along on his morning patrol. Today it would be best to keep up appearances."- ''Halo: Ghosts of Onyx'', page 237, paragraph 3 or 4 (depending on how you count the paragraphs).
I believe that a show called ''Keeping up Appearances'' was shown on the BBC. Could this paragraph be a reference to that show, as it mentions BBC and uses the words "Keep up Appearances"? {{Unsigned|Echo 1}}
