Many assumed that [[Jiralhanae]] were to blame or that the destruction was even wrought as a result of clan disputes on the planet. Once Gray Team returned to the UNSC in September of [[2558]] following [[Battle of Carrow|their escape]], the [[Arbiter]], [[Thel 'Vadam]], granted the team a formal pardon.<ref name="Envoy"/>
