BiographyEdit

William Webb served as the executive officer of Halcyon-class light cruiser UNSC Roman Blue, under the command of Captain Terrence Hood. By 2531, Roman Blue was a part of the Third Fleet, commanded by Admiral Preston Cole. During the Battle of Arcadia on February 9, 2531, Roman Blue was tasked with retrieving the UNSC Spirit of Fire's log buoy, but Hood instead had the ship engage a Covenant Sinaris-pattern heavy destroyer, the Radiant Perception. The cruiser was quickly overwhelmed by the destroyer and forced to retreat, having failed to recover Spirit of Fire's buoy. As a result, Roman Blue had to receive a month of repairs before she could rejoin the fleet. By March 10, 2531, Cole had Webb witness the reprimand he gave Hood, relieving the captain of command and reassigning him to the frigate UNSC Burlington. Cole had Webb remain on Roman Blue and promoted him to captain, giving him command of the cruiser.[1]

At some point after 2535, Roman Blue had engaged in a conflict at Chi Rho and crashed on the planet's moon of Eiro. Whether Webb survived, or even participated in, the engagement is unknown. His logs during his captaincy of Roman Blue were recovered in January 2557 by salvager Rion Forge, giving her greatly desired information on the status of Spirit of Fire.[1]
