RE: Thel's height

I'm well aware of what his height is. The reason I changed it back is because it screwed up the template. Until we fix the template to read the way it should (7'10"), it stays that way. SmokeSound off! 03:40, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

It's fine. Thanks for coming to me rather than reverting it. SmokeSound off! 03:50, January 21, 2010 (UTC)

You should look up boot rifle helmet memorials. They are still used in Iraq and Afghanistan to this day during the funeral of fallen soldiers. It's relevant to the trivia about rifle helmet memorials. I suggest you look things up in the future.

It was in the trivia section, none of it is related to Halo. You should learn about context. If it was in the main part of the article, removal would have been fair. Unless you want to remove that entire trivia section because it isn't about Halo either.

You should delete the rest of this too "In the scene where the ODST hold the memorial, their squadmate's grave was marked with a rifle with an ODST helmet atop it. This was a common practice during the World Wars (1914-1918 and 1939-1945). As there was often no time to hold a proper funeral, this was used as a substitute."

Thank you.

Reference Bolding

You may. That's the proper format according to Subtank's flooding out policy. First bold the title - italicize any subtitle, page numbers. At least that's how I understand it, and it makes sense with stuff like Evolutions that have really long titles so that it is easily to differentiate the labeling. -- Lord Hyren 03:22, March 27, 2010 (UTC)

Bolding whatever

k. Thanks for the heads up. -- Cadet Sergeant First Class LewisMy Comm LineWhat I've done 05:15, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome. :) -- Sergeant Major Avery JohnsonMy Comm LineWhat I've done 05:22, April 4, 2010 (UTC)
I believe you on it; I can see the site notice. I just never bothered reading any of 'em. -- Sergeant Major Avery JohnsonMy Comm LineWhat I've done 05:30, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

Actually

No, no I did not. Usually people yell at me when I do things wrong, much easier then reading /and/ understanding about things. - Halopediaman 05:37, April 4, 2010 (UTC)

RE: Are ODSTs Strong Enough

No ODSTs are not strong enough to rip a turret off. You have to understand that this game was built with the Halo 3 Engine, which itself was built around the SPARTAN-II soldier. There are certain liberties taken with ODST that are not true to the fiction.

For example in ODST you can still flip Warthogs despite the fact that it is a three ton vehicle and ODSTs are not augmented, or have any special feature. The health system is also incorrect as its just Halo 3's health just turned around. Logically, the same thing applies with the turret. Also even when posed with this question during Spike TV's interview with Bungie before ODST was release, both Brian and Joe could not keep a straight face and then gave a convoluted answer. Its merely a gameplay thing not meant to be taken seriously. Durandal-217 05:33, April 23, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, such features can be disabled. It could just be the engine, or the Warthog is made up of a really light carbon-based alloy, explaining why it can fly so far after a mortar hit. But yeah, it's probably just gameplay reasons.-- Forerunner 15:02, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Protection

The article is set to unlock just before June 20th UTC+0. I'm afraid you'll have to talk to its protector; Subtank, if you want it unlocked. I don't want to be responsible for unprotecting an article still in danger, sorry.-- Forerunner 15:01, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

I'll have a chat with Subtank.-- Forerunner 15:04, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Hey

Ok, first of all, I was not referring to you specifically in this comment because you are not one of the nominees. I had another user in mind when I was commenting. Secondly, the fact that I am trying to get my point through doesn't mean I have anything against you. You have misunderstood me, and you may be right to have done so. I have been misunderstood in a similar case before. But you'll have to deal with it. Thirdly, I have been admiring your contributions since last December, and I myself would have nominated you already if I had not many more users in my list. And lastly, I did never have anything against you so that I need to "forgive" you. It's not like you did anything to me. I hope we're fine after this. :) -JEA13 [iTalk] 12:54, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

That's what I wanted :P -JEA13 [iTalk] 13:08, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

"Slated"

Just to make it clear, "slated" is a word. I have become annoyed with people constantly changing every instance of this word to "stated". When used on the Kat article, it means that she is set to appear in the game as a playable character. Reach hasn't come out yet, and we have no sources that prove that she will be in the finished version.-- Forerunner 09:54, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

I understand. Sorry about the trouble. --(_)LTR/-\ F( )RCE 17:14, June 21, 2010 (UTC)

Regarding File:Invincibilityhud.svg]]

As per Project:Signature Policy, could you reduce the size to 20px instead of 28px? Toodles. - 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 20:12, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

Gallery Edits

When you edit the galleries, make sure you put an 's' on the end or the width tag. Otherwise, the width will not change.   General5 7    talk    contribs    email

Stop adding the slideshow features for the small galleries. They just look fvcking ugly and useless. Instead, replace all of your recent contributions with <gallery widths="120" orientation="portrait"> ....- Sketchist 17:15, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Since you contacted me and reverted my edits in a rude and uncivil way, I'm not going to replace my gallery edits with that just yet. --File:Invincibilityhud.svg|20 Ultra Force 17:20, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Since you ignored my blog which specifically stated to avoid using Slideshow feature and to simply add <gallery widths="120" orientation="portrait"> in those galleries (seriously, it's that hard to simply copy and add that simple code?), I think I have the right to shout out my honest opinion.- Sketchist 17:32, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
And some of the galleries you edited were large. Also when I saw my edit to the gallery section of the Cyclops article, it sowed only half of one of the images, so thats a downside for your edits. --SPARTAN-125 Cally99117
The proper use of the Slideshow feature should be for galleries with 14+ images. Other than that, it is useless to implement the slideshow gallery feature.... - Sketchist 17:32, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Fine, I'll do it. --File:Invincibilityhud.svg|20 Ultra Force 17:35, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Also, if you are going to insult me about not using <gallery widths="120" orientation="portrait">, then you may as well insult Cally, Fluffball, Sith and the others who made the same mistake as I did yesterday. --File:Invincibilityhud.svg|20 Ultra Force 17:49, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Could you please be a dear and relay the message to them for me?- Sketchist 17:52, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Sure. --File:Invincibilityhud.svg|20 Ultra Force 17:55, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, my only problem with the "portrait" thing is that it crops the images to fit in a small, rectangular box. Also, I don't really see the advantage to make them a "portrait" rather than keep them how they are.--Sangheili Commando 021: Fluffball Gato 18:37, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
That's exactly what I want. I want the galleries to just return to what they used to be. --File:Invincibilityhud.svg|20 Ultra Force 18:47, July 15, 2010 (UTC)
Wikia is currently trying to fix that issue.   General5 7    talk    contribs    email

RE:IRC

Apparently you didn't read the "NO SPOILERS WHATSOEVER UNTIL SEPTEMBER 14TH!" notice at the top of the IRC channel. You'll be unbanned in one day's time and that is non-negotiable.

Have a good day.

Rank

If you haven't figured out it by now, you should have assumed that any rank you have on Halopedia will not be confused with any rank someone may have in a Military, Law Enforcement, etc. organization. You are a Major on Halopedia, we know that, state it as such before someone assumes that you are a Major in the United States Army, Marine Corps, or Air Force or a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy as your talk page suggests. Total disrespect showed towards those who have rightfully earned those insignia.

And just as a hint, you come to me before replying with a smartass response on the edit history page. Understand?

Have a good day,
User:CommanderTony/Sig

Your Infobox Image

Hey, I've been re-organising and cleaning up the Halo: Reach concept art category, and I noticed you have some Noble Six concept art on your userpage. I've now moved the file to File:HR_NobleSix_Concept.png, if you want to re-add it to your page and fix the broken link. Thanks for your time. BaconShelf (talk) 06:49, 2 March 2019 (EST)
