HI!!!

Welcome to Halopedia, Braidenvl! I'm Guesty-Persony-Thingy, but you can just call me Guesty, or, more commonly, GPT. I am an administrator here at Halopedia, and I know a lot about Halo and editing wikis, so if you EVER need ANY help with ANYTHING, just talk to me here. Again, welcome to Halopedia, and I hope you enjoy your stay here! =D --NOTASTAFF GPT(talk)(eating) 01:35, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Vandalism

Hi there,

Thanks for your assistance in reverting the vandalism from 69.4.150.18. In the future, you can contact myself or any of the administrators listed at Halopedia:Administrators for assistance in dealing with vandals.

Advance tip

Hi, I noticed your edit to 'Fall of Reach' on the recent changes. Just so you know, it's best that the word 'advance' isn't used in a military engagement article as it has a different meaning in such instances - to move in. -- Forerunner 06:02, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Fakes?

Ah...they are false? I had my suspicions about the "Suspect Behaviour" one, but I was not aware of the fact that it was from a faked Youtube video.   General5 7    talk    contribs    email

Indeed. According to Mr. Opdahl's words, they're part of an elaborate hoax. In fact, that Weekly Update predated the video's surfacing on Youtube by fourteen days. --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 17:07, August 2, 2010 (UTC)

Thel 'Vadamee and the Package

What's this about Thel in the Package being retconned into a seperate character? where's your information on this? --WhellerNG 17:07, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

The new content in the re-release of The Fall of Reach reveals that the "Thel" from The Package is not Thel 'Vadamee, but is instead Thel 'Lodamee. This was obviously done because of the numerous complaints that The Package contradicts 'Vadamee's backstory as established in The Cole Protocol, namely that he'd never encountered a SPARTAN until he fought Jai at the Rubble. --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 17:11, August 4, 2010 (UTC)

Wanna help?

Hey Braidenvl! We recently updated the Vehicle Infobox but then found out that most, if not all, vehicle articles aren't using that infobox! Could you perhaps help us in adding the infobox in all vehicle-related articles?- 5əb'7aŋk(7alk) 18:34, 23 November 2010 (EST)

Sure. I'll get right on it. --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 18:37, 23 November 2010 (EST)

D77C

Do we have a confirmation that the D77C is a variant of the D77H? The only way I can distinguish the D77H from the standardised 2552 D77 is the cockpit style. We do not see the cockpit in Halo 3: ODST, however.-- Forerunner 16:25, 30 November 2010 (EST)

The D77C's Waypoint article confirms that it's a variant of the D77H: "Very few modifications have been made to the D77C over the existing D77H model..." I'll add the source to the appropriate articles. --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 16:32, 30 November 2010 (EST)

Sorry

I'm sorry I messed up the Installation 07 page. I was only going by information in the previous edit. I have not read Halo Cryptum so I did not know. However, we do know one ring is bigger than the rest but the infobox for each and every installation says 10000km so one is wrong. Nevertheless, we do not know which is the original so it is best left as it is. However, can we both agree that the page would look nicer if we added the 'clear' template right before the 'forerunner2' template? I'm only asking because I don't want to cause more problems. --XSuperGamerTalk 19:04, 4 April 2011 (EDT)

That's not a problem. I'm always glad to see new users take intitiative, so please don't feel that you've done anything wrong. As you pointed out, since we don't know which of the "modern" Halos was part of the original array, we should leave the infoboxes as they are. By the way, feel free to add the Clear template; I don't want to edit the article too many times in quick succesion. --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 19:13, 4 April 2011 (EDT)

Capitalization

On your reversion of my edits for the page for the Unidentified Sangheili Shipmaster (The Return), you answered that "Human", not being a proper noun, should not be the capitalized. The reason that I did was because on Wookieepedia, the policy there IS that "Human" be capitalized, out of uniformity since the names of all the other species are (See here at the last sentence of the section for more details.) Halopedia is closely modeled off of Wookieepedia, and I expected that policy to carry over as well while I was editing. Your call to whether it should or shouldn't. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 20:14, 7 April 2011 (EDT)

I'm familiar with that policy. However, as mentioned here, "human" is only capitalized on Wookieepedia because pretty much every other Star Wars species' name is capitalized. The word is never capitalized in any of the dozens of Star Wars novels, games, or comics that I own. It's the same case with the Halo series. Thus, it should remain uncapitalized. --"Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have." -Thomas Jefferson 20:23, 7 April 2011 (EDT)

if

you need help please contact me because every time i try to help i get yelled at?Butthead4 20:23, 1 May 2011 (EDT)

that's because your edits are unconstuctive and in terrible English Forgive My English TALK TO ME BABY 22:28, 1 May 2011 (EDT)
I don't see why would Braidenvl need your help because you got yelled at (they are irrelevant). Just read the MoS again. Alternatively, go to your Talk page and see what skills do you need to improve. Seriously. S331 (TalkContributions) 01:20, 2 May 2011 (EDT)

Machine guns

I think you've accidentally created two different duplicate pages. M247T medium machine gun and M247T Medium Machine Gun. PRESIDENT1234 15:01, 28 June 2011 (EDT)

Oops; I thought I'd already redirected that. Anyway, it's taken care of now. Thank you. --Courage never dies. 15:16, 28 June 2011 (EDT)

Wishy-Washy Washout

So there's a fair bit of debate here about whether the Spartan that Osman mentions on 367 really is Maria. As you're the one who listed it as such on her page, I'd suggest you check it out. Because the rest of us aren't sure. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 16:05, 28 January 2014 (EST)

Pure Forms

Are they coordinated or interstellar? --Gringadilingmaster (talk) 09:11, 4 February 2017 (EST)

Because the coordinated page says the pure forms come in at that point but also says during Halo 2 it was coordinated but the pure forms are nowhere to be seen (because it was before the writers even thought of them at that point)

They could really come up in either stage as long as the Flood has sufficient biomass. The only distinction between the two stages is the Flood's access to interstellar transport. A Coordinated stage colony would technically be designated Interstellar the instant it captured a slipspace-capable vessel. It may already have enough biomass to generate pure forms before capturing the ship, but on the other hand the colony may need biomass from a nearby planet first. --Our answer is at hand. (Talk to me.) 09:42, 4 February 2017 (EST)

That helps a bit thanks, just didnt want the articles to send a mixed message --Gringadilingmaster (talk) 09:58, 4 February 2017 (EST)
