Unreliable Exploration is the twenty-sixth track (Disc 2 Track 9) in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary: Original Soundtrack.

Overview[edit]

Unreliable Exploration is a mix of other soundtracks. It opens with the third section of An End of Dying, accompanied by the eerie ambiance from the openings of Captain, My Captain and Exfiltration. Synth quickly takes over, which then fades out, followed by the first two phrases from the third section of Random Slipspace Trajectory.

Appearances[edit]

The first half of the track plays in place of Enough Dead Heroes in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, during the opening cinematic of the level Truth and Reconciliation, when John-117 and Fire Team Charlie are deployed underneath the eponymous Covenant ship.

The synth section plays briefly in the first few seconds of the opening cinematic of the level The Library in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, when showcasing the index chamber in the Library.
