Triple Kill is an achievement in Halo 3. It was awarded when the player earned a Triple Kill medal (three consecutive kills within four seconds of each other) in a ranked free-for-all playlist. This achievement was worth 5 gamerscore.

Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.[1][2]

RewardsEdit

Unlocking this achievement rewards the player with the following;

TacticsEdit

  • An easy way of getting the achievement was to, during any match with Energy Swords, grab an Energy Sword, get on top of a high structure, and jump and surprise the large battles on the ground floor. Tip: Only lunge when there is roughly a ten-foot distance between you and your targets, or if the reticule turns red.
  • Playing King of the Hill on The Pit (or Pit Stop), players could man one of the turrets and wait until others charge the hill.
  • A good way to get this achievement on Construct was to get a powerful weapon (such as the Energy Sword) and camp at the top of the central lift. Many players would fly up the lift or funnel through through the hallways.

TriviaEdit

It was possible to unlock two achievements at once. If a Triple Kill is accomplished with a Sword, the player would unlock both the Triple Kill and Steppin' Razor achievements, and if a fourth player was killed, the Overkill achievement could also be obtained.
