Nobody has been fired. The internal teams were disbanded, and absorbed by the other group working on Halo Wars. -- CoH|Councillor]] Specops306 - Kora 'Morhek 07:17, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Even the concept of having a MMO of Halo sounds ridiculous. Thank god they abandoned the project...Little_Missy - File:Cortana Gif.gif|24px]] 12:52, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Merge all cut-content into this article?

Now, rather than deleting all of these, why not create a hub for cut-content? Just like our Pre-Xbox Halo article. It would look far better and readers can find all of the cut-content information in one place! :D — subtank 07:09, 31 March 2012 (EDT)

Sounds good. We should do that. Are all of these cut contents notable enough to have their own page? No.—S331 Bubbleshieldhud.svg(COMMission LogProfile) 07:12, 31 March 2012 (EDT)
Except that's a heck of a lot of content-there's already articles for cut content in other areas (even levels, so shouldn't the same standard be applied? Better to have individual articles than make a user trawl through hordes of data.--Hawki 08:48, 31 March 2012 (EDT)
This a cancelled game and all of its contents. Where can we put deleted levels or vehicles? Well, I guess we can. —S331 Bubbleshieldhud.svg(COMMission LogProfile) 10:46, 31 March 2012 (EDT)
Hm. Could possibly work as an article, but the gallery's going to be huge. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 12:03, 31 March 2012 (EDT)
Not really. All we need to make sure is that every images is categorised accordingly and properly.— subtank 10:34, 2 April 2012 (EDT)
There. Revamped. Doesn't look that bad. The Pre-Xbox Halo article could use this layout style. :P — subtank 19:42, 2 April 2012 (EDT)
Looks terrible IMO, but it's all down to opinion, and I won't start an edit war. I will say it's kind of redundant to compare it to the Pre-Xbox article because in that case, many of the concepts still exist in some form, the article simply covers how they were, and of concepts that are unique to it, there seems to be an absence of images. It also raises the issue of what happens if some of these concepts are revitalized. Happens more often then you might think.--Hawki 20:35, 2 April 2012 (EDT)
Actually, in my opinion it looks better than I thought it would be! Not bad. Pre-Xbox Halo does deserve the same treatment. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 21:25, 2 April 2012 (EDT)
Did a quick preview for Pre-Xbox Halo and it didn't turn out as good as this one, simply because it lacks images. But that article is in serious need of layout/format update.— subtank 21:31, 2 April 2012 (EDT)
It looks quite okay now. Never saw the point for all those articles - in addition to my personal revulsion of it all, a canceled and officially unannounced game is just not notable enough to need an article for everything in it. Material cut from the actually released games is fine by me, but all the MMO stuff is just unnecessary clutter. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 07:47, 3 April 2012 (EDT)
Looks pretty good and well-organized to me. Way to go, Sub! About Pre-Xbox Halo, we should be able get enough images from the Halo 2 Limited Edition DVD, the "Bungie's 7 Steps to World Domination" and the "O Brave New World" ViDoc. —S331 Bubbleshieldhud.svg(COMMission LogProfile) 08:33, 3 April 2012 (EDT)

Looking at the current replies on the satisfactory improvement of this article, can we now remove the individual articles of the Halo MMO cut-content (I think redirecting them is pointless and quite unnecessary)? — subtank 11:16, 3 April 2012 (EDT)

Seems like a good idea.--File:Colonel Grade One.png|20px]] Col. Spartacus Talk Page Contributions Contact 16:27, 3 April 2012 (EDT)

Are there plans to restart this

I hope there are plans to continue making this game as it defiently looks awesome Spartan Matt 22:44, 20 November 2012 (EST)

Everything we have suggests the project is dead. Permanently. The MMO market notoriously hard to break into. Even Star Wars, sci-fi giant that it is, had to go free-to-play to attract players. Considering FPS fans and MMO fans probably overlap less than Star Wars fans and MMO fans do, it's probably not a sound financial move to resurrect the project. Trying to be a WOW-killer is an invitation to get crushed.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty - 112 23:19, 20 November 2012 (EST)
I don't know about awesome. A lot of the concept art would screw with lore and make the game look like Star Wars. Bioniclepluslotr 13:44, 21 August 2013 (EDT)
I personally don't want this to be restarted. For one, it will clash with existing Halo canon. And secondly, the whole thing is a very ridiculous idea. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 14:09, 21 August 2013 (EDT)Xamikaze330
Former developers were comparing it to Star Wars: The Old Republic in style and rough mechanics. Considering how that ended up for BioWare and EA, I doubt Microsoft would see it as viable. Plus, from what I've seen Microsoft seem to be courting the casual gamers, what with their focus on Kinect-friendly games - which was the reason they shuttered Ensemble in the first place, which is another reason for me to dislike the Kinect.
Would it be awesome? Probably. There are plenty of people who still love TOR, and there's a lot to love about it. And the Halo universe is expansive enough to make it work. But I don't think it's going to happen. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 06:23, 28 August 2013 (EDT)

It's unlikely that Titan itself would be restarted, actually the project is probably doomed forever. It doesn't really fit in the Halo universe, so if there's an MMO it would be an all new project. But I don't see Microsoft trying to compete with the other MMOs, a "connected" world a la Destiny would seem more plausible. Imrane-117 (talk) 09:12, 28 August 2013 (EDT)
