Problem! (misunderstanding)[edit]

There seems to be a huge misunderstanding here. Ther is in actuality the character someone has confused with Pipit. In The Cole Protocol page 195 paragraph 11, When Thel begins his tale, beginning the narrative with "Pipit" was not to name the ancestor as Pipit Vadam. Thel was addressing the Unggoy deacon named Pipit who he was conversing with. The ancestor's true name is Ther Vadam, who at this point seems to have been marginalized and dislocated from his actual history. With this in mind, a great deal of editing is in order.

Better evidence that Ther and Pipit were confused: In The Cole Protocol, Thel Vadamee speaks the sentence "'I would be no better than the jailed Sangheili Ther executed for being useless'" (page 196, paragraph 4). This shows that Ther was not merely on the sidelines, but the kaidon who made his return home from the desert to reclaim his keep.
