Lotus Mine?

From the descriptions, the LOTUS anti-tank mine, and trip mine seem similar Keyes 08:09, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

LOTUS vs. Tripmine

I am highly doubtful at the probability of the trip mine and the LOTUS anti-tank mine being the same. From the descriptions in the HALO book series, the LOTUS is a much more powerful tool. I wondered about their equality as well but conducted several tests at the damage delt by the trip mine. Even though it is lethal to thos riding in vehicle it does not have the destructive power to destroy a warthog. From what I understand from the books the a single LOTUS has the necessary destructive pwoer to render a Scorpion useless.therfor it is highly un likely that it is the famed lotus

Improper Claim in tactics

The trip mine isn't the only equipment that can kill someone. If a player is weakened (his physical hp is down), the explosion at the end of a Power Drain cycle is capable of killing a player.

There are no damn trip mines in ODST okay!

frisbee deployment

Am I the only one bothered by the trip mine? You deploy it by throwing it on the ground like a frisbee and then it flashes bright colors while making loud humming beeping noises. Who the heck designed those things? Aren't trip mines supposed to be traps? Only an idiot wouldn't notice a 2 foot flashing humming explosive disk on the ground in front of him.
