Oh snap! Epiphany time!![edit]

So I was just reading the Forerunner talk page and someone was saying that not even John knew how he knows to operate Forerunner machinery. So I was thinking, "Hmm the Rock on Sigma Octanus IV explained John's familiarity with Cortana's calculations with Halo's coordinates. But definitely not how to operate Forerunner machinery. Also, with other humans being able to operate Forerunner machinery without knowing how(off the top of my head, the SPARTAN-IIs on Reach). Hmmmmmm, it's weird, because it's almost like it's instinctive." Then it came at me like a series of rapid hits! "Instinct. Brain. Forerunner. Programmed." Then I realized it!! GEAS. The Forerunners PROGRAMMED HUMANS WITH A GEAS TO OPERATE FORERUNNER TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!! What do you think? You think it might be possible? I would REALLY like to hear your thoughts on this. Firstly, please refrain form using excessive amount of exclamation marks. If you're trying to make a point, at least be mature about it.. >.>
Secondly, you're forgetting that other species within the Covenant too are capable of operating Forerunner tech, thus able to reverse-engineer it for their own use. As such, it is not only exclusive to the human species. — subtank 20:29, 10 March 2011 (EST)
Of course. Just taking one species. The San Shuum had thousands of years to mess around with the Forerunner Dreadnought on their planet. Just messing around with it, using trial and error until they figured out how it worked. But humans would just have a feeling about it. Just somehow "knowing" what it was without having learned it. And Fred just "knew" about the weird Forerunner security measure, telling his team to switch to black and white enhancement (I know, I already know there's something wrong with that statement). It's certainly possible and more than likely, just no way of knowing for sure SPARTAN-347 23:04, 10 March 2011 (EST)

That's a more than credible hypothesis you have established. I really feel this articles relating to this subject should reference this possibility.--Brute Honour Guard File:HGBrute.jpg|20px]] ("Talk") 01:28, 2 August 2011 (EDT)

I just got some big (more than just theory) evidence for my theory. Answer a question for me, please. What does Homo sapiens augeous mean? ;) Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 18:17, 11 August 2011 (EDT)

Homo sapiens means "Wise Man," and augeous is (as far as online translators show) a made-up term, probably derived from the latin word meaning "grow, augment" SPARTAN-347 21:49, 11 August 2011 (EDT)

Just read the Reclaimer page, and look at the notes. Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 22:15, 11 August 2011 (EDT)!

Some more evidence just came in. Look at the Halo: Anniversary terminal Trailer. Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 22:39, 27 August 2011 (EDT)!!
