i don't think it classes as a battle. its part of the battle of Installation 05, so it is a 'sub-battle', an event during a battle. like the Battle of the Somme, lasted like a year, different missions making different 'sub-battles'. or we coulodcall it a mission instead.
- Sometimes smaller parts of a larger battle are recognized as distinct battles. This is especially true if the main battle lasts a significant amount of time and comprises a number of distinct but highly interrelated engagements.EldritchWarlord 21:02, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
Conjecture?Edit
I do not believe that the UNSC were affiliated with the Sentinels during this battle, as when the UNSC Pelican with the Scorpion tank flies overhead, oftentimes it shoots at the cluster of Sentinels present, instead of the Arbiter and any Elites he may have with him or the Flood (this doesn't explain why the Pelican ignores the Enforcer that flies past it, but like I said, its conjecture). Also, in the previous level Sacred Icon, when you hear the Marines over the COM saying "negative ma'am they are not Covenant, cover that doorway" you can hang back near the bridge, jump up on a nearby crate (don't go too far in) and look up ahead and to the right near the stack of crates. Through the fog you can see 1-3 Marines (not sure on the exact number, it could vary) fighting against the Flood, as well as Sentinels. If you carefully shoot the Flood from a distance, you can see the Marines and Sentinels exchange fire. Again, this is just my two cents, but possibly something to consider?
