Spoilers[edit]

Shouldn't this page have a spoiler warning? Since it mentions that Cortana is the antagonist and the game has been out for a few days. —This unsigned comment was made by 99.235.183.1 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

We don't really have a article spoiler template, though I've been thinking of changing up the new content template so it mentions that there is also spoilers on the article. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 22:23, 3 November 2015 (EST)

Genders of robots[edit]

Guilty Spark has the voice/mindset of a male. Exuberant Witness has the voice/windset of a female.

But neither are physically male or female. Biologically gender is defined by their reproductive position, the seeder or the seeded. Since they are robots and reproduced through manufaturers (The forerunners), they are asexual. Same goes for the Warden Eternal. Should we list gender as male or female? perhaps put (mindset) in brackets next to gender? I don't know, what does the community think?Editorguy (talk) 22:42, 1 June 2016 (EDT)

Sex and gender are definitely not the same thing. Physical sex can have nothing to do with the gender a person identifies with, and I think it's pretty clear that Exuberant Witness identifies as female based on how they present themselves. Listing her gender as female is fine. -- Qura 'Morhek The Autocrat of Morheka 23:07, 1 June 2016 (EDT)
Agreed. Plus they use male or female pronouns. Additionally, some reference books list genders for AIs in the statistics section for the character. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 23:19, 1 June 2016 (EDT)
I remember this being discussed awhile ago. Alertfiend - Warning, my comments may appear passive aggressive. (Converse) 23:54, 1 June 2016 (EDT)
