Thanks for linking me to there. I also note the part about including full dialogues rather than just chopping them in half by character. I'll have to implement that in the process. Faction quote pages sounds like an interesting idea too.

I definitely agree, and what you described has actually been part of our quote page layout guide for some time. I've been meaning to add quote pages for major factions (UNSC, Insurrectionists, Covenant, etc.) just for quotes like this.

That could work. Speaking of quote pages, I was considering revamping them by having them include a section with quotes about the characters, rather than just those specifically spoken by them. This would include blurbs from character bios and statements made about them by other characters. I think it would be handy to have; there's an abundance of quotes about Halsey, John, etc, and it better suits characters like Linda who don't speak very much by are often described. Do you think it's worth adding?

I have been told that somewhere in Escalation 16 this conversation occurs, that seems a nice fit for the Catherine Halsey page:

Palmer: "You're a traitor and a war criminal. That's all there is to it."
Halsey: "It's awfully convenient for you to think of me that way - isn't it, Palmer? You can't be that naive. You really think I could have pulled off everything I've been accused of without the full support of ONI? Of the entire UNSC? Consider the resources. The budgets. You think those decisions were made unilaterally? Whether it was a signed form or a wink - they approved it all."
Palmer: "This armour - this job - has been soiled because of you!"
Halsey: "Soiled? I'm the only reason that armour even exists! You can't have it both ways, Commander. Unless, of course, you find the perfect scapegoat. Then spend years rewriting history. Which brings us to your master, Osman."
— Halsey retorts Karen Traviss's Sarah Palmer's accusations

Since I got this from a second-party source and don't own the comic, I can't confirm that this is the verbatim wording. You can, and probably know better than I do where all or part of this belongs.

Been working on the "List of explained inconsistencies", got a draft saved. School's delayed me a bit, but I should be posting it up soon.

Been absent from Halopedia for a while due to school. It's been a crazy month and exams will be soon. My editing likely will be sparse until mid-December.

Sort of. It seems most likely that John is partially dreaming, but Halsey's words are real and he's hearing them while he's dreaming. That's happened to me all the time. Otherwise somehow John knows about Halsey's guilt when he's only met her once.
