Why did you reverted my edit on the GEN3 ? Why don't simple said "major variants of the GEN3 platform" ?

In general, it's something we're strict on especially after the leak situation with the main game as a whole. It's now in the store, so it's fine now though.

Hello. I understand that we cannot put leaked content, but is Stormfall really one ? I mean Spartan Kovan wear it on the cover of The Rubicon Protocol, right in plain sight.

Hey- when adding new info to articles please remember to add sources. See here for a guide. Thanks.

That's fair, and not an unreasonable line of logic. In general though, multiplayer is canon in the sense that a rough backdrop is the SPARTAN-IVs in WarGames - but specific game mechanics are typically not representative of any specific lore.

Ah ok. I really thought that the multiplayer was canon, with the exception of things that 343 explicitly said are not, like the Yoroi core.

I thought, for example, GEN3-enhanced Scout helmet was made specifically for the GEN3-enhanced Mark V[B] armor while a Gen 3 Celox was made specifically for the GEN3 Mark VII.

Of couse if a Spartan like the GEN3 Mark VII armor but want to use a GEN3-enhanced Scout helmet, he can do it, but the helmet will need proper modification to make it compatible with the Mark VII. The reason for this could be because, even if all armors are GEN3, there is still some internal electronics differences between the Mark VII, the Mark VI and the Mark V[B].

But I suppose is all just speculation, until 343 say something about it.

This would likely be easier to do in Discord, but as a general rule, the Armour Core system we see in Halo Infinite is only an abstraction for gameplay purposes. In-universe, there's likely nothing specifically stopping a GEN3-enhanced Scout helmet from being used with Mark VII components. Mark VII is only a specific suit.

As for the Argus and whatnot, I'd be hesitant to say anything beyond them being GEN3 armours until we get more confirmed information on them. Best not to make assumptions, in general.

Hello, I wanted to talk about the GEN3 and its variants. As an example, we know that the GEN2 Anubis was its own variant with its own armor, but isn't the GEN3 Anubis helmet just a variant of the GEN3 Mark VII ? And aren't the GEN3 Cohort, Hermes and Argus(?) helmets variants of the GEN3 Mark VI ? It seems that the GEN3 follow the GEN1 Mark-system model, with each GEN3 Mark having its own variants.

Maybe we should all have a talk about the details of the GEN3, to clear things up.
