"Built in the image of the lifeless corpse-moon that orbits Doisac, with secrets that only the most cunning Jiralhanae can unlock. Advanced Brute Plasma Rifle with increased damage, but can also serve as an utterly lethal melee bludgeon."
— In-game description[1]

The Scale of Soirapt is a specialized variant of the Kewu R'shi'k-pattern plasma rifle, employed in the Post-Covenant War conflicts.

Design details[edit]

Main article: Type-25 Brute plasma rifle

The Scale of Soirapt is built upon the chassis of the standard Kewu R'shi'k-pattern plasma rifle, though features a white-and-yellow striped paint scheme. Mechanically, the weapon has been upgraded with upgraded damage and heavier construction, making it a more effective melee weapon.[1]

Development history[edit]

Following the fall of the Sacred Promissory, Jiralhanae warlords in command of post-war fleets and colonies have moved to procuring the services of expert weapon smiths across known space.[1][2] The Scale of Soirapt is named in reference to Soirapt, one of the three natural satellites formerly orbiting Doisac.[4]

Gameplay[edit]

The Scale of Soirapt, along with the Sorrow of Teash, was one of two plasma rifle variants added into Halo 5: Guardians in the Warzone Firefight update.
