The UNSC also employed different types of aircraft. The UH-144 Falcon was used during the battle.[7] The AV-14 Attack VTOL[8] and the AV-22 Sparrowhawk[9] were both used as ground support aircraft. The D77-TC Pelican was also used early in the battle as a cargo transport,[2] but was eventually switched for the D77H-TCI Pelican, later.[10] The F-99 UCAV drone aircraft were also deployed.[11]

The Covenant used a lot of different types of ground vehicles during their siege. The Karo'etba-pattern Ghost were deployed early on,[2] but were eventually overtaken by the Barukaza Workshop Chopper.[4] As land transportation, the Covenant used the Ruwaa-pattern Shadow.[2] As their main battle tank, the Covenant used the Type-26 Assault Gun Carriage.[5] Their main anti-air vehicle was the Ogab'd-pattern anti-aircraft Wraith.[8][13] Finally, to assist in breaking down any defenses, the Covenant used the feared Type-47 Scarab in both the Protos variant,[5] and the Deutoros variant.[8][14]

The Covenant's main ground attack aircraft was the Type-26 Banshee. Two variants of which were used during the battle; the T26A[2] and the T26C.[10] The Ru'swum-pattern Phantom was also used as a cargo transport for the Covenant.[5]
