Palghanar was a human colony active in the post-war era and under the influence of the Unified Earth Government. At some point, the planet was attacked by Banished forces led by Escharum in the Siege of Palghanar - in which one of the planet's settlements was able to hold out for nineteen days.[1] Wraithmaster Ordo 'Mal participated in the siege.[2]
