Palace Hotel was a hotel located at Beria Plaza in the city of New Mombasa, Kenya. The hotel had a curving staircase and a mezzanine in its main lobby. During the Battle of Mombasa in 2552, it was used as a command post by UNSC Marines of E2-BAG/1/7, due to the tactical advantages of the location; Beria Plaza could serve as a choke point in case of an attack. It was here that John-117 met his childhood friend Parisa, now a UNSC Marine Lieutenant.[1]
