X-play's own Mr. Sark Previews Halo 3: ODST

Story by Spirit-of-HALO
July 14th, 2009

Intro

"Fighting unlimited waves of increasingly difficult enemies is kind of flavor of the month right now, and that's essentially what Firefight is. But what makes it stand out is Halo's spot on control. It's just a pleasure to play that style of game in the Halo world."
— Mr. Sark

News

Bungie's upcoming expansion pack, Halo 3: ODST, is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Though, some Halo fans might be wondering if the latest installment will nearly be good enough to play, even without the Big guy Himself. Your in the boots of an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, a rookie in a squad that was separated during a hot drop, even though stealth is not the main implementation in the game, some sneaking around might do some good for you.

X-Play quote:

Well, X-Play's resident Halo guru Mr. Sark was lucky enough to get some hands-on time with ODST, and if you are the one of those players worried about what awaits you in the new game, especially with regards to Bungie's take on the ever-present Horde-inspired game mode (Firefight), perk up your ears.

Mr. Sark had plenty more to say, so make sure you check out the video in the link.
