Hey Halo 2, you suck!

Intro

The title was an attention snatcher wasn't it! Don't worry, Halo 2 is still my favorite game out of them all!

News

Since the release of the Xbox 360, we've always wanted more and more gamers on our friends list. While 100 friends might seem like a lot to the developers of Xbox LIVE back in its introduction in November 2002 or even up to the announcement of the Xbox 360 in May 2005, we've figured out that it really doesn't cut it too well. And one of our favorite games is supposedly to blame.

Due to the complex work put into this game's multiplayer component by Bungie, specifically the LIVE component, this problem was never addressed or even known to the public until now. That game is Halo 2, released in November 2004, a year before the launch of the Xbox 360 console. Now your probably thinking "so, why can't they work around that?".

The thing is...Microsoft could easily work around that, but that would mean an end to the most popular original Xbox game on Xbox LIVE for the past five years running. Personally, I hope this "source" is a notorious king of shenanigans, only bullshitting us for the laughs.
