M870 Rampart point defense gun

Template:Weapon Infobox The M870 Rampart point defense network is a defensive weapon system utilized by the UNSC Navy. Firing 50mm rounds, the M870 is used for defense against strikecraft and Plasma torpedoes^[1]. Charon-class light frigates are equipped with four M870 turrets—two on either side of the hull.^[2] The Gladius-class heavy corvette, the Stalwart-class light frigate and the Strident-class heavy frigate are all armed with six M870 turrets each.^[1]^[3]^[4]
