Lotus Squad is a small team of ODSTs, and a sub-unit within Boomerang Company. The squad, like the rest of the company, was part of the crew assigned to UNSC Spirit of Fire when it arrived at the megastructure known as Installation 00 in 2559. During the conflict against the Banished, Lotus was deployed to Fort Jordan, an outpost set up to comb through the wreckage of a downed Covenant ship. However, the base was attacked by Warlord Ristyx and the majority of the base's personnel killed. Following a grueling war of attrition, only three members of the squad remained, led by Corporal Kyla Emmett. The squad's fate is unknown.
